Vacations can mean a lot of things to people. Whether it be a quick road trip for a few days or a few weeks away to a selected destination.
Every few years we love to head to Southern California and go to the Disney parks. Of course, right now during this Covid19 challenge, the parks are closed indefinitely so virtual travel is on the menu so to speak.
Remembering.....
When it's hot and the lines have been long its time for a refreshing treat and who doesn't love a frozen yummy dole whip.
With the parks closed Disney has given up a few of their park recipes and the famous dole whip is one of them.
I can just smell the sweet pineapple mixed in with the vanilla ice cream all swirled into a delectable mound of deliciousness.
Taking a spoonful of this treat as the frozen pineapple zing dances on your tongue, peer delight.
Disneyland will re-open at some point until then enjoy their recipe. (below)
Disney Dole Whip (2 servings)
4 oz cold pineapple juice
heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream
frozen pineapple chunks (1/3 small bag)
juice and pineapple chunks into blender first to break up
add ice cream
with a star tip and pastry bag swirl into cups (or use a baggie
with cut corner)
Or as I did just scoop into small bowl or cup
