Halloween treat time

Whether your an advid trick or treater, hand out the candy at home or just buy the candy and eat it yourself. (secretly or not) it's that time of year again to get your fill of the treat bag.

When I was young , we were given handfuls at every house and sometimes even home made treats. The candy variety was plenty.

Today people are not as generous with what they hand out and many times it's the cheaper candy that's not so desirable. Think lollipops and the harder candies. Don't get me wrong, these candies still need to be part of the trick or treat bag. But their ratio needs to be less then the rest, like the chocolate etc.

When todays kids come across a house sharing chocolate and the likes I'm sure that is shouted in the streets so no one forgets to go to that house.

And of course , unless you know the giver of the treats well, no one just hands out homemade treats any more.

Whatever type of candy you enjoy may your bag be full of it this Halloween.

And hey, if not go to the store the day after when its on a great sale and get your supply then. No one will know the difference.
